Abstract

In 2007–2012 the authors have analyzed surgical treatment of fractures, spurious joints and refractures of long cilindrical bones in 56 patients. All patients underwent transosseous extrafocal osteosynthesis with rod device of origional construction. Aftereffects were estimated in terms from 1 to 5 years after apparatus demounting. All patients had knitted fractures. This method allowes better long-term treatment results and higher life quality of patients. The method is proved to be successfully applied for mono- and politraumas.
